As part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's endeavors to prevent the sale and promotion of counterfeit products in the country, the Ministry, in cooperation with several competent authorities, seized a large quantity of vehicle oils counterfeiting trademarks belonging to international companies. The violators used various commercial vehicle oils and affixed labels bearing trademarks of international companies with the intent of deceiving consumers. The seizure came after efforts, follow-up and scrutiny extending over several months, which resulted in catching the violators, and legal action will be taken against them.
