In continuation of its oversight role and as part of its efforts to combat commercial fraud and counterfeit goods, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has caught a basement used as a showroom for selling counterfeit goods. A large quantity of perfumes, accessories, bags and leather products bearing trademarks of the world's most famous companies was seized. The Emergency Team impounded the seized items, and legal action will be taken against the violator.
