The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the launch of a self-service temporary import issuance service for individuals or from the office of the company applying for the license for specific types of activities, allowing this license to be issued through the Ministry's e-portal for receiving Ministry customers after approval of the competent employee. Eapp.moci.gov.kw "Commerce" said in a press statement today that this comes as a continuation of the development process at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, calling on all individuals and companies to use the service and issue licenses immediately through the above-mentioned e-portal after review by the competent employee. It added that this service is a continuation of the Ministry's services digitization project and paves the way for accelerated steps toward a complete restructuring of the services of the Companies and Commercial Licenses Sector, noting that it provides all comprehensive services "online" without the need to visit the Ministry in person for most transactions, as these services have reduced visits to government entities through electronic linking with them, in addition to enhancing the ability of Ministry employees to work without a backlog of transactions under review. The Ministry stated that digitizing services for the Ministry's sectors reduces the procedures of the submitted application, stressing that, to complete the said transactions, the Ministry has established electronic links with many relevant government entities, and work is under way to complete linking with other entities with the aim of providing fully online transactions to customers without the need to visit. *"Commerce": Temporary import licenses issued to individuals after approval of the competent employee, without visiting the Ministry, for specific types of activities* The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the launch of a self-service temporary import issuance service for individuals or from the office of the company applying for the license for specific types of activities, allowing this license to be issued through the Ministry's e-portal for receiving Ministry customers after approval of the competent employee.
