The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announces to all practising auditors that they must comply with the training plan of the Continuing Education Program for Auditors for 2024, approved by the Ministry in partnership with the Kuwait Accountants and Auditors Association. The Ministry of Commerce affirmed, in a statement issued today, that an annual report will be issued on the extent of auditors' compliance with the approved mechanism, and that action will be taken regarding those who fail to attend the professional program, in application of Law No. (103) of 2019 regarding the Practice of the Auditing Profession and its Executive Regulations, and of Ministerial Decision No. (159) of 2023 regarding the development of the professional capabilities of auditors and the mechanism for continuous qualification and training. The Ministry of Commerce clarified that auditors with enquiries about registering in the program must contact the Kuwait Accountants and Auditors Association
