Kuwait and Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding in the industrial field at the conclusion of the fifth session of the (Kuwaiti - Pakistani) Joint Ministerial Committee for Commercial, Economic and Technical Cooperation. The memorandum was signed on the Kuwaiti side by the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Omar Al-Omar, and on the Pakistani side by the Pakistani Federal Minister for the Board of Investment, Privatisation and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan.
