The United States removed the name of Kuwait from the watch list for the protection of intellectual property rights

The removed came thanks to the increasing efforts of the State of Kuwait to enforce the law against the sale of counterfeit goods and the establishment of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry electronic platforms to manage intellectual property rights and trademarks

- The list is prepared according to an annual report issued by the Office of the US Trade Representative on the effectiveness of the efforts of the trading partners of the United States of America in protecting intellectual property rights and laws

- removed after Kuwait continued to be on the list for the past 25 years
