Kuwait and Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding in the industrial field at the conclusion of the fifth session of the Joint (Kuwaiti-Pakistani) Ministerial Committee for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation.

The MOU was signed from the Kuwaiti side by Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar, and from the Pakistani side by the Federal Minister of the Board of Investment, Privatization and Telecommunications of Pakistan Abdul Aleem Khan.
